Atlantic Immigration Pilot

This is a pilot program that is designed to allow skilled worker come and work in the Atlantic Provinces in Canada. Through this program, foreign skilled workers who want to become permanent residents in any of the four Atlantic Provinces in Canada can apply. The four Atlantic Provinces in Canada are: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

This pilot program has three programs, which include two for skilled workers:

Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program
Atlantic International Graduate Program

The requirements for the Atlantic High-Skilled Program are:

You must have a foreign degree or diploma that is equal to the Canadian standard and so you will need an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report to certify this.
You will need to take an approved language test show that you are fluent in either of the official languages in Canada that is English or French
You must have at least one year experience working in professional, management or skilled job
You must have a proof of funds that shows that you can support your stay in Canada as well as anyone one that will join you in Canada.

The requirements for the Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program are:

You must have a high school diploma that is equal the Canadian standard and so you will need an Educational Credential Assessment report to certify this.
You must have at least one year experience working in a job that requires a high school education
You will need to take an approved language test show that you are fluent in either of the official languages in Canada that is English or French
